Niv Perelsztejn is an adjunct researcher in the Bucerius Institute for Research of German Contemporary History and Society at the University of Haifa, and is also part of the teaching staff of the Hohma program at the Department of Jewish History, University of Haifa.
His study deals with trans-national and cross-cultural intellectual history and focuses on the philosophy of Emmanuel Levinas and the history of Israeli philosophy, intellectualism and messianism. Mr. Perelsztejn has also a long record of social and educational activity, with students and youths from different social backgrounds across Israel.
