Israel Gershoni, Professor Emeritus of Tel Aviv University, has published tends of books and articles on the history of the Middle East and specifically Egypt.

His book, Enlightenment in Colonial Egypt in Hebrew is forthcoming as part of the Nadha series of Resling Publishers.
