ד״ר יואב רונאל הוא חוקר תרבות וספרות. הוא מלמד ספרות עברית באוניברסיטת אוקספורד, ולימודי תרבות במחלקה לתרבות חזותית וחומרית בבצלאל. ספרו ״חדר אחד בליבו סגר״ יצא לאחרונה בסדרת כרמל. המחקר הנוכחי שלו עוסק בשאלות של בטלה ועבודה בזמן בתיאוריה ובתרבות עכשווית.

Dr. Yoav Ronen is a culture and literature researcher. He teaches Hebrew literature at Oxford University and cultural studies in the Department of Visual and Material Culture at Bezalel. His book "He Closed One Room in His Heart" was recently published in Carmel press. His current research .deals with questions of idleness and work in time in contemporary theory and culture.
