Dr. Hilla Pladott, is a graduate of “Gymnasia Herzliya” and the Israeli Scouts movement in Tel Aviv. She is married to Johnatan and is the mother of two valiant soldiers. She completed her bachelor's degree at Bezalel, in the department of Ceramics and Glass Design (B.F.A.). She holds a master's and a doctorate degree from the Department of Jewish Philosophy at Bar-Ilan University, where she focused on the teachings of Rabbi Yehuda Leon Ashkenazi - Manitou. Hilla lectures on practical and theoretical art at teaching colleges throughout Israel. She also lectures about her research topics: tradition, Jewish-Hebrew-Israeli identity, and the subject of the Holocaust according to Manitou.
