Ameer Fakhoury is a political and cultural sociologist and lawyer. He is Academic Director of the Center for the Study of Co-Nationalism and of the Nissan Center for Shared Society at the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute, and is among the leaders of A Land for All, an Israeli-Palestinian peace movement. He recently co-edited the Shared Society Lexicon. His research focuses on nationalism, Palestinian citizenship in Israel, Jewish-Palestinian relations, collective identity, and the political and cultural conditions of shared society and co-national relations.
