Marc-Alain Ouaknin is a philosopher and rabbi. Associate professor from Bar-llan University, he is co-producer with Françoise-Anne Ménager of the “Talmudiques” program on France Culture. Comparative literature specialist and biblical and Talmudic hermeneutics, his interdisciplinary research links philosophy, literature, psychoanalysis, the arts, and Jewish thought. As part of the Targoum Institute, he has just published the first volume of his new translation of the Bible under the title La Genèse de la Genèse, illustrée par l’abstraction, published by Diane de Selliers. He is the author of more than thirty books translated all over the world.
