Dr. Ronit Peleg teaches Contemporary Continental Critical Philosophy in Tel Aviv University (The School of Political Science, Government and International Affairs), and in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (the Program in Cultural Studies). She has published extensively in contemporary philosophy. Her monograph on JF Lyotard's concept of différend will soon be published at Resling Tel Aviv.
Her domains of philosophical research are also focused on the works of Maurice Blanchot, Jacques Rancière, Jacques Derrida, and Emmanuel Levinas.
A co-founder and the academic organizer of the Seminar of Continental Philosophy, which in the last 14 years takes place in the public space of the city of Tel Aviv.
