Avner de Shalit holds a PhD from Oxford University (1990) and has been at the Hebrew University. He is the author of 8 books, most recently Cities and Immigration (Oxford UP 2020) and (with Jonathan Wolff) City of Equals (Oxford UP 2023). He is the recipient of the Rothschild Prize in social sciences (2014) and the EMET prize in political science (2018).
